Default Seriously fed up

Hey guys,

So I recently was having problems with my 95 f150. The check engine light would randomly come on and cause my Rpms to jump around. Sometimes when I would push in the clutch it would hold it's rpm level instead of going back down. Other times the truck would almost try to stall itself out by burying the Rpms, even when I was driving so it got jumpy. I took it in to my mechanic and the computer was reading off all kinds of codes. He found a bunch of shorts and bad grounds and replaced a map sensor, 430 dollars later I got the truck back and it drove fine for about a week. Today I was out driving and the check engine light came back on and it's doing the same **** as before. I can't keep putting money into this truck as much as I love it. I'm only 19 and can barely afford the gas. Please if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it!

Find someone who has an obd2 scanner or go buy one, scan for codes, find the code, and check the sensor for the code.

Only some of the later 95's were obd2. My 95 is obd1. All of 96's were.

But the digital makes it easy. It can be done with a multimeter.
