Default Rust!

Hey guys sadly live in a place where rust can kill a truck well before it'll break down, especially since it's a Ford so it never will. But anyway, i've got some pretty bad rust and was wondering if I could get some input from everyone else to see if I can at the least delay it. There are some surface spots, but since it's old there are a few deep wounds. Any ideas?

There is a rust converter spraypaint by rustoleam. Or use coarse medium then fine sand paper. Wait is it a truck you plan on keeping show room or just want no rust?

The only real fix is to remove the rust. Then you can treat the area with POR or bedliner or some other sealer. Rust converter can work but it can only do so much if the rust is more than surface.
