My 92 F-150 302 E40D runs like a top..perfect idle..good pick up..shifts into OD a little early for me..but shifts smooth as silk in all gears...Problem..Why do I smell Gas? Sitting at Light or in driveway I smell Gas..Any Idea's. Looked for leak's front to back..nothing.
Running Rich? No Codes..but checking again in a few...

 

Make sure you check your gas tanks as well. Open the throttle by hand with the truck running and smell. Could be a leaky injector or fitting that does not do it until it is started.

 

Feel around, might be a leaky regulator or fuel rail, Ford had a problem with leaky fuel rails.
