Default Rotor recommendations?

Wanting to replace my rotors...any suggestions? Heard a lot are flimsy cheap China ones. My OE's lasted 180,000 miles...just want something similar but not really expensive...work truck.

Years ago ... there was a problem with imported rotors from China warping because they were still working out metallurgy. If it's an American company that outsourced it's manufacturing to another country then the technology & quality is there. The rotors are cheaper because of lower labor costs.

I've been using NAPA rotors & drums for years w/o any problems. Not really knowing the difference i usually buy based on price because you get what you pay for.

If you're running heavy loads up and down the Rocky mountains every day then you need the very best. Otherwise ... a good mid priced rotor from a reputable company is a safe bet.

If a truck is a 95 with 180 k. then it's getting near the end of it's life cycle. If you're planning on putting it up in a couple of years ?

This truck has been garaged 17 years and in great condition. Runs strong and should last another 180,000. I'll keep replacing things that break. I only run around town with it and not pulling much, but would like to pull a boat every now and then.

I think I'm going to do Motorcraft rotors...the originals lasted so long why mess with something proven. They are only $20 more than the china one's at O'Reilly. I show them at $99 each from Ford dealer.
