that's the only reason why i'm waiting to get a roll bar for my truck but you could get bed side tool boxes that would work or wheel well boxes

actuaaly they make some roll bars that have it set up so that a toolbox goes in between the rails. the downside is their usualy more expensive and you can only use that companies toolbox

:/ well that sucks....im not yet sure of what i want to do..i already have a tool box so i dont really want to have to buy another one..i may get a box that doesnt extend all the way to the walls of the bed. one of my buddies has one like that in his 91 chevy ck. doenst look bad but still isnt my first choice...i wonder if there is a roll cage that connects to the top of the bed walls instead of the floor of the bed... that wold be great

The bars that mount to the bed are not roll bars, they are show or light bars. They will not protect anything if you get to enthusiastic while off roading. You could always have some bars fabricated to fit around your box.

Buy a tool box for a stepside ranger. That's what I did. It won't open to the full 90 degrees.

they make some low profile tool boxes that sit in between the bed rails. maybe they'd fit. depends how ya roll cage attaches
