Unhappy RIP Purple pickup

I don't post often but I used the forum to find solutions to most of my problems. Unfortunately last week I had overextended myself and fell asleep at the wheel on the highway. I hit a semi mounted (stationary) construction arrow doing about 70 MPH. MY F-150 saved my life in more ways than one, the airbags went off and while I was in a lot of pain I was able to get out of the truck and walk to the center median of the highway and watch my poor baby burn. Once the ambulance got me to the hospital in had determined that I was going to live. At the hospital they took several x-rays and did an MRI where they determined that nothing was broken but that I have a pulmonary embolism (my third now), a pulmonary embolism is blood clots in the lungs. So if not for wrecking my truck I would have to have found out the hard way (basically suffocating). On the bright side I don't need to worry about getting a ring job anymore . Now I have to decide if I want the gas or diesel this time.

The first time seeing my lovely purple pickup

I'm thinking of getting this one just so I don't have to change my user name:

Sorry for Purple's loss amigo..

Savage looking damage. Been an EMT for bit more than quarter century, seen folks not come out of accident with far less wreckage done to it.

Good fortune in finding Purple's replacement.

As an owner of a 95 F-150 flareside I am partial to the purple truck you are thinking of getting. Partial to purple Fords, here is mine with 91k miles and used the spare tire for first time since birth. 22 years of dirt and spare tire had 28lb air pressure in it. Those were the good old days.
I feel safe in my F-150 than I ever did in my 07 Saturn Vue. Thanks for living through that accident. God blessed you to share your story with us.
