Default Rims

I have some ford 5X8 rims and i wanted to put 33's on them. What is the max tire width that would fit on these rims without any problems down the road. I'm putting a 4 inch lift on it too. Thanks for any help!

I think the recommended size is like 3" +- from the rim. But I have stock rims, I think mine is 7 or 7.5 wide on 35x12.50 and they ride fine

10.50 is the max. dot reccomends.

Otherwise your tires will look like ( ) and the middle of your tires will wear faster than the edges. I'd say Max of 32x 11.50

Not true at all ^^

On a 8" wide wheel a 12.5 wide tire works great! And there's hundreds of thousands of guys doing it! (think jeep stock wheels) But that is the max tire width that I would run on a 8" wide wheel.
