Default Rim question

i have some ford 5X8 rims that i want to put 33-12.5-15 tires on. are 12.5 tires too wide for the 8 inch rims? will i run into any problems down the line? thanks for any info

No they will be fine. People say that it will wear different but it will be fine. I have 35x12.50 on my stock either 7" or 7.5" rims and rides fine with no problems

tire places usually say to stay within 3" of the rim, aka 8" rim= 11" tire. but somany people have 12.5s on these stock rims with 0 problems, you will be fine.
