Default replacement rubber flooring question

hey guys.

my 95 xlt is in serious need of new flooring. the gray carpet looks like the bottom of a mud pit due to years of mud/sand/dirt and coffee spills. i'm notorious for losing my coffee in the truck.

i see on lmctruck that there are two different replacement rubber floors that i can purchase and install. my question is, which one is better?

here is a link to the lmctruck.com page that has the two in question.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/full.aspx?Page=88

i personally think the top one is the better choice due to its thickness. has anyone opted to install either of these? comments/questions/problems etc. pls.

Default just an idea

I ripped out the carpet in an 89 scab one time. I bought a herculiner kit and applied three coats to the interior. This gave me a waterproof interior that could be cleaned easily. The musty old carpet smell was gone. The only drawback is the chemical smell remains for over a week. If you can deal with that, the only thing you need to worry about is painting yourself into a corner.

I have the thick mats like that, individual mat for driver and passenger. I love that mats, just don't forget to cut out a small area under the throttle. For months I thought there was something seriously wrong with my truck. But I later figured out, that the super thick floor mat was preventing the throttle from going to its limit. I just cut it out and I have WOT again
