Replace water pump
What's up F150 community? My name is Sam; I own a '95 F150 with a 5.0 and I'm trying to replace my water pump. So far I've removed the radiator and fan shroud. I guess I made a mistake loosening the fan blade off of the fan clutch as it has still been a pane to remove the hoses. If anyone on here can walk me through this complete process I would really appreciate it; Thanks in advance!
you really didn't need to remove the radiator.. but you remove the fan.. and then undo the hoses, (i stuck a screw driver up in them to get them unstuck from the water pump) then i think theres 5 bolts that are easy to see, then you have to remove the power steering pump, i think is what it is (whatever is to the right of the water pump if your looking at it) and then theres one more bolt that you have to undo that looks like a little rod coming through the power steering pump, and then when you get it off you need somthin to scrape all the old gasket off, then run a bead of rtv on your new gasket on both sides and reverse the process.. been a while since i did this so someone correct me if one of those is wrong or you need to add something to it. good luck
