Default Removing starter

Hi,
I have an 1989 F-150 with manual 5-speed tranny and a 4.9L inline six engine. I'm trying to remove the starter. There are 2 bolts holding it. The bottom bolt is no problem but the top bolt is really being a bear to see much less to get off! It seems to be behind the catalitic converter? Has anyone with this truck dealt with this lately??? Thanks!

Hi Big,
I got mine in ok once I got down there and figured it out! The converter on the exhaust does not make it easy. A little cramped to say the least, but worth it the new starter from Advance Auto (a Remy) works a lot better! The old pick up cranks over a lot better now, thanks for the come back!
