removing fuel lines
I have a '94 inline-6 with duel tanks and i hit that common cross-filling problem. While trying to disconnect the front tank I came across some complications and had to cut one of the flexible lines a fuel-resistant high-pressure hose with a stainless-steel woven covering. Now I need to replace the line because I'm putting the tank back in but I don't know how to take the old line off. It's not connected with a quick disconnect it is the end that attaches to the the metal lines.
Agree with prior poster, have never seen a fuel pump with built in braided line. It probably has the internal garter spring which needs to be expanded to remove. Special tool available at auto parts.
