Is it possible to remove the e brake steering column mount in the picture below without doing a complete dashboard tear out? Found an eBay picture below.

I want to diagnose a leak behind it without making the truck completely inoperable for days at a time. I live in a neighborhood that has street sweeping once a week and need to be able to move the truck once a week.

 

Big job, but that pedal support should only take you about 4 hours even as a layman
I use a long extension with a wobbly and deep socket to get the brake booster out of the way first
Replace all the plastic bushings in the pedal assembly
