Default rearend question?
Will the rear axles out of a 87 f -150 fit into any rearend out of any ford explorer? Is the axles different length ?

The axles shafts will not fit in any aspect.

The explorer 8.8 rear axle is narrower making the axle shafts shorter and has a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Not 5 on 5.5 like our trucks.
