Rear Wiring Issues and Question !!Please Help!!
My son has a 1993 F150 5.0 V8 Single Cab Long Bed. The person before us cut the rear wiring harness off to the rear of the truck. I have the bundle of wires coming from front just behind the tire. There are 5 wires two of which are black and grounded. One of those black grounded wires also shows 12 volts when the main lights are turned on. Also when we traced everything else and connected it all up the brake lights do not work when the main lights are turned on. Both back lights flash when the right signal is engaged and the left does not work when left is engaged. All front lights work as they should. Please some tell me what the colors are and should be coming from front and what to look for for other mentioned problems. I know that the running lights wire should not also be grounded but I also don't know where that wire goes to be able to run a new one to see if that fixes my issues. I really need to get his lights working properly as he almost got a ticket the other day for non working brake lights and signals.
No longer have my manual - but may take a look at this thread and response from user Steve83 - 1993 5.8 F150 tail light wiring - Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans
Looks like brown wires feed your tail lights and license plate marker lights from the main light switch.
Orange and lIght blue feeds right side stop light and turn signal, from the multifunction switch on the steering column.
Light green and orange feeds the left side stop light and turn signal, from the multi function switch on the steering column.
Blacks are ground.

So I'm running a 3 way switch for my turn signals because they stopped working from the column, it works when the TS wire from the light assembly is connected (but then I don't have hazards)
so I connect both ends of the TS wire and the hazards work from the hazards swith as well as the makeshift 3 way switch (but i dont have turn signals)
So either I don't have hazards or I don't have turn signals
1. Which is more important to keep
2. What could possibly be the problem so I can fix it properly
