Rear leaf spring removal to lower!!??
Hey all! Ok I gotta 94 f150 regular cab 2wd and as most of you may know these Fords are jacked up in the back! I'm just getting in to trucks as I have only worked on cars so I'm not familiar with leaf spring suspensions. My question is does anyone have a step by step on how to take out some of the leaf springs so I can lower the back of my truck? If so please let me know cuz I saw a truck today with the leaf springs taken off and it looked so much better!! Thanks!
on the 2wd models are there 2" blocks between the leafs and the axle like on the 4x4s?? if so just buy some new u-bolts (you can never re use your old ones) and pull the blocks out to level it out, thats what i did on my truck
Dang thats weird I was jus looking at your post that you put up with a pic of your truck and daughter lol...nice truck btw! Anyways nope I thought there were blocks at first but after looking, nope! and my truck is the only one I have ever worked on so I'm not sure if the 4x4 is the same but my leaf springs are above the axle...
