what difference does it make in what rearend you put in. what does it do for the truck. can any rearend go in a truck without making any mods or what would you have to mod depending on what rearend. how do you tell what one you have.

 

pre 83 had 9" rears, after has 8.8 rears, all truck rears should swap, the only difference is the later years have speed sensors, and gear ratios.
