Rear Disk Breaks

Default Rear Disk Brakes

Has anyone on here put rear disk brakes on there truck? I have a 95 F150 4x4 and I want to put disk brakes on it if anyone has done this can you let me know what brackets you found that worked and what calipers work for this application.

It's never a good thing when your Disc Brakes break. I hope you get it fixed soon.

Disc brakes didnt come on the rear of generation 9 trucks and before. The bronco graveyard conversion provides hoses, disc and hardware i believe. But you have to get rotors that fit a certain gm car.

make sure you have the matching proportioning valve or combination valve for disc breaks. Drum brakes don't need as much volume of fluid or as much pressure to move, basically, so the original one will not work and then you're good to go.

  • The metering valve
  • The pressure differential switch
