Default Ready to throw in the towel.. Any Help/Ideas Appreciated...

88 4.9 man 4wd

This truck didn't run when I got it in March. It had numerous problems after years of hacks working on it. A list of problems and fixes to follow:

Small Stuff:
· Windshield wipers – Wiper motor
· Windshield washer - Washer pump
· Emergency brake – Forward cable
· Vacuum leak – Repaired leaks
· Turn signal – Flasher relay
· Tires - Replaced tires
· Cluster lights - Re-lamped all bulbs
· Neutral safety switch - Replaced bushing
· License plate lights- Bumper, harness
· Speedometer – Drive gear, driven gear
· Aft tank qty - Tank sender, extension kit
· Horn – Dual tone horns, turn signal switch, steering wheel

Big Stuff:
· Intermittent Starter engage – Starter relay, Battery cable, Starter, Grounds
· Fuel system – Aft tank pump, fwd tank pump, high pressure pump, tank selector switch, fuel pump relay and socket, dual tank selector reservoir, filter, blew out pressure and return lines
· Check engine light – EGR valve, EVR connector
· Eng Stalling - Distributor, PIP & TFI, coil, plugs, cap, rotor

Here's the rub, engine starts runs great for some time, usually anywhere from 5-10 minutes, then it just stalls.

Fuel pressure is good, I've thought of just throwing a regulator at it.

I checked for power at the coil side of the EEC relay thinking maybe the start switch? Powers good up to and after fail, and the ground is good.

Checked the power side of the coil and power is there up to and after fail. Good volts there.
(Both of these while tapping the start switch and shaking wires to induce a fail, no help there.)

KOEO self tests gives me a 44, Thermactor system problem, probably either of the solenoids. I have ignored it thinking not a big deal for now.

Could this cause the engine to stall?

If not, does anyone have any idea? I am ready to get it towed to a garage. Tired of working in the sun sweating all over it, troubleshooting and running out of ideas...
