Default ready to build a dedicated fun rig

Like it says. Here's what I want. 87- 96 half ton with a solid front axle and a regular cab, short bed, and a 460. Does this exist?

No none of that is factory. Solid front axle was only available I believe till 79 for 1/2 ton, the 460 is only available in F250 and up platforms and I don't think any F250's came with a short bed.

So you would have to find a short bed half ton, swap to a solid front axle and drop in a 460. That's allot of work ahead of you.

I jus read what I wrote I meant a 3/4 ton. So I guess the hardest thing would be to find a short bed huh?

I don't think they ever made the big block in a short bed, but I have seen it done. From a factory standpoint, it was probably a liability issue, like the old Jeeps with too small a wheelbase.

Yeah If it were me I'd do the swap with a 3/4 ton chassis, then its just to change the front axle and build up from there.
