Default Re gear

I am about to put some 4.56's in my 95 f150 4x4. It has the 8.8 rear and thats were the gears are going. Yes i know i should put gears in the front too but i dot have the money for that yet and i never use my 4x4 anyways so im not worried about it. My question is should i take it to a shop or do it in MY shop. I have plenty of tools but i know theres some of the specialty tools you need. My question is what else do i need to buy to do it myself instead of taking it somewhere, Besides the ring and pinion what else should i get? Also what am i looking at spending to do it myself vs a shop for only one axle. Ps:i have 3.55's now.

Watch these 2 videos and it should help you decide whether you want to do it yourself or not.
