Default Random starting issues held needed!!

So my centurion just started with the turn the key and get one click and no start again. It hasn't done it since August but now it started again. If I keep trying to start it after the one click it will start on the third or fourth time but its really starting to annoy me. I cleaned all the battery cables, starter cables and solenoid connections and it really didn't help. I can even cross the two terminals on the solenoid and it will still just click once and no start. What could it be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

solenoid in the starter, get a new starter and it will be solved since you cleaned all the connections so its not them..

That's what I was figuring. Just weird that it hasn't happened in six months and before that it was about another six months.
