Default Random question - wheel studs

Has anyone encountered them coming loose frequently? After replacing a brake hose and putting my wheel back on one of the lug nuts gets a little more than hand tight and then just started spinning on the stud. When I bought the truck one on the same tire was also free-spinning. At least this one will come out without me having to drill the stud...

Just wondering if this is a common problem and I should just go buy a whole set of studs to put on before the rest come free...

After the precedent has been set, I would be tempted. Ever seen a tire loose on the freeway at 65 mph? If they jump the center devider, 120+mph, combined impact speed.

If stud problem is shown to be precedent to an accident & it can be shown it was not adequately addressed, Criminal & civil anti is raised substantially.

Best bet is to take it to a reputable shop & pay them to do what "they" deem required. Then it's primarily "their ***!" This is all worst scenerio thinking, but as you get older, you tend to think that way.
I've hit em in a Lincoln. Tore off the oil pan & launched the rear of the car in the air at 65mph, dodged em as they've come at me & sped up to out run em. Also lost one off a trailer. I don't recommend any of those experiences.
