Default Random loss of all power

Hey guys I got the truck back on the road a week ago and now I've ran into a problem that started yesterday. I went to go move the truck for prom photos, I turned the key the gauges moved and fuel pumps primed and then everything went dead. Waited a couple seconds and everything came back on. On the way home from prom truck shut off and everything went dead again, I rolled to a stop once I was stopped the dash lights were very dim then everything lit up again and the truck started fine. Then today I went into home hardware came out and no power this time it took a bit but everything started again.

Has anyone heard of an issue like this, my plan was to go over the grounds and make sure their tight. Any other common things to look for, and it's a 94 inline 6 with 218,000 km.

Grounds and battery connection. Last time I had this problem the terminals weren't getting a good connection because of crud on them and corrosion.

Definitely check your connections and have your battery tested. As long as your there have them test your alternator too. And its always a good idea to check for codes.

I tested the alternator already and it read 14.4 so it's good, the ground terminal on the battery was a bit dirty and loose so I cleaned the posts up and tightened it down so ill see if that fixes it.
