Default Radius Arm Bracket Bolts

Greetings,

I have one Radius Arm bracket with the rivets removed and bolts installed. Th truck came that way...very nice. I need to install bolts on the other side because the rivets are loose and the bracket makes noise. When I had the bolted bracket off to replace the arm bushings there was a neat "nut holder" that retained the nuts side by side on the inside of the frame rail and made the bolt installation really easy.

My question is does anyone make a bolt kit? Anyone seen a nut retainer like I described? Am I gonna have to make up the parts from the hardware/auto parts store or?

Thanks

mine wasnt that way...I just went to the hardware store and got some 7/16-14 bolts 1 inch long and matching nuts...

Advance Auto sells the bracket with the bolt kit but the bolts are metric and the equivalent to 3/8-16 and are too small for the holes and let the bracket move back which changes the alignment...

I spent 3.00 on the nuts and bolts at teh hardware store...

x2 on buying bolts instead of a bolt-kit. The new bolt for mine came with my lift kit, but if it didn't have them, I'd just go to the hardware store, and buy the grade 8 bolts that I needed.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the info. I figured the hardware store was the answer. I was just looking for the super easy fix. Not that the hardware store isn't but now I have to think!

Take out one of your bolts from the other side, and you'll know what size you need. Then just count how many holes there will be after you remove the rivets (4, I believe), and buy that many bolts, washers, nuts, etc. Grade 5 would probably be strong enough, but I like to go overkill on everything, and pretty much only use grade 8 hardware.
