There are actually 3 types of "Ignition" wires:

"True Ignition" - will have 12v while the starter is cranking

2nd Iginition - will lose 12v while starter is cranking but, must be energized for the vehicle to run (will also power with key turned to "Accessory")

3rd Iginition - will lose 12v during cranking but, is not needed for vehicle to run - also known as the Accessory wire, normally runs A/C, Fan Motor, etc.

Very confusing, I know. Some vehicles don't have the 3rd ignition and simply lump the 2nd and 3rd ignition wires together. Anyway, for remote start purposes, you have to energize all of them, however, if there are 2 "True Ignition" wires, you only need to do 1 of them.....

I had a similar problem with the ACC wire... turned out to be a fuse in the fuse box (power distribution box) under the hood

Default Similar problem

i have the same problem. Getting steady current through main power to radio but not getting anything from the acc. Wire. Put a test light on the red acc. Wire and got nothing. The radio works with the acc. Wire tied into the main power but doesn’t turn on and off with key of course. and is leading to Bluetooth problems with the radio now. Yes I have vigorously checked every fuse in the interior fuse panel and have done all the troubleshooting I could possibly think of. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

How exactly are you measuring "steady current"? What are you calling "main power"? Red is not a factory Ford color - refer to this:
