Default r-134 amount?

About how many cans (or ounces) should it take to fill a completely empty system? Looks like some others online are saying 2-3 cans (12 oz. I assume)... anyone know if this is right? Also, does anyone know the pressure I should fill it to if it still has the r-12 parts? thanks!

3 cans willl get you close....

I fill it at 2,500rpm just until the compressor stops cycling and keeps running then just a tad more...then road test it...if it cycles then add more until it stops...it should get 34f easy
