Default Quiet beep when lights are on

Anybody run into this one ? 95 F150 XLT - when I turn my lights on I hear a real quiet beeep about every 2 or 3 minutes; then after about 15 minutes it's a steady beeeeep - still very quiet though. If I turn my lights off and back on it goes away and doesn't come back. I'm thinking maybe headlight switch ? but I thought I'd throw this one out there to see if any other members have seen this one before and know what the end fix was.
Thanks for any help.

I had an '02 Mazda B4000 that would do that. Turned out to be a disconnected airbag.

Yeah everything I see online about beeping coming from under the dash suggests you have an airbag circuit failure somewhere - but it certainly seems weird that it would only happen when you turn the lights on and off.

Maybe beep is a poor description - if you've ever heard the quiet whine a light bulb can make, it's sort of like that. I can't figure it; beats the he(( out of me.

Do you still have the noisemaker connected that warns when your lights are on and the key is out? Maybe that thing is making the noise?
