Quick question regarding the front axleshaft U-joints on my 1995 F-150. Last winter when i used 4-wheel drive, the front U-joints would occasionally make a pop noise when i turned sharply. Is this something i should be overly concerned about and replace them before this winter, or could i get away with another year or so before replacing them?

get under your truck and check to see if you can wiggle them around. if you can, probably a good idea to replace them. they probably wont fail if there is just a little wiggle room, but ya never know
