quick manifold question

Default quick manifold question

I have a 96 with a 5.8, and I'll get right to the point. I broke the heads off the exhaust manifold flange bolts and was wondering about any advice about getting them out. I'm at my gf's for the next few days so i won't be able to work on it (f150's my backup vehicle). Are they screw in or pressed in(it's' been driving me nuts not knowing), and i really really don't want to take off the manifold and screw up anything else. Money is a wicked issue so cheaper is better. I am looking at some bolt extractors from harbor freight, anyone know anything about these either? Thanks for any help once again, and yes i've been seaching and haven't found any good info so if ya have a link to some let me know. Thanks.

I used that to extract the broken studs when I pulled one of my manifolds. Worked like a charm.

If you have any of the stud sticking out where you can get a hold of it and access to a welding torch as a last resort heat the manifld up untill its red hot around the stud and you can spin it out with a pair of pliers or vice grips.
