Default Question about the Taurus e fan

I did a Taurus fan install on my truck and used the flex a lite 31163 controllerthat start the fan up gradually. I only hooked up the high speed to the controller since it controls the speed. Does the fan need power to both wires in order to reach its full speed?

LOL, 52 views, and nothing. In another thread I probably pissed off the one person that knows the answer to this question.

Never mind, found the answer. Do not power the high and low speed wires at the same time.

Should be a 2 relay system, one for the low and one for the high. Typically the high is for the A/C and the low kicks on when its up to temp.

With that controller looks like its used in a 1 fan configuration and switches it from low to high speed.

Its a variable speed. It slowly ramps up the rpm based on coolant temp. It was expensive but it was a breeze to install, is completely adjustable, and is working great.

I got it off Amazon for $156. I also like the fact that there was only the controller and the fuse to wire, and that it can be gotten with the screw in temp sensor rather than the radiator probe.
