Default pulling a boat?

so a couple friends and i are thinking about a boat, and since i am the only one with a truck, i would be pulling it.my truck is 93 with a 5.0 and a 5 speed and 3.73's, and i am worried about pulling the boat with a manual trans. has anyone done this and how did it go? did you have any trouble getting up the ramp with the boat attached? the boat shouldn't be too heavy, 3000lbs at the most, probably closer to 2000 tho. thanks alot guys!

Cakewalk! I used to pull a 30 ft boat, w/ 120 gals. fuel & 80 gals. water in it w/ an I-6. You'll get there fine! Just don't forget to make wider turns! Sometimes you forget there's a boat behind you that's along for the ride!
