i have a 1996 f150 5.0 302. my problem is that my front tank will pump but will not register on the guage? the rear tank works just fine. could my switch be faulty or is something possibly not grounded? thanks

 

The sending unit controls the guage reading. More than likely, you need a new sending unit in that tank. By the time you drain and drop the tank, and pull the fuel pump to replace the sending unit, you might consider replacing the pump too - that way you won't have to drop the tank to replace the pump in the near future.

 

ok well then its probably just going to stay like that for awhile. lol not to high on the priority list
