pre issues
so i have a couple of tech related questions i wanted to reach out for guidance on.
I own a 92 f150. been in the family since new and i recently purchsed it from my uncle. it had sat for about two year. Swapped in a new battery and fired right up without hesitation. I has normal wear and tear for a 20 year old truck but looks and drives great with its 132k miles.
So first of all, i have an issue with the drivers side window. The window motor does not raise or lower at all. No reaction when the button is pushed. The passengers side window works fine. I can manually pull up the window and lower it on my own. The window will also fall on its own a few inches overnight or parked for a while with gravity. I can be lowered with regular arm strength as well. there is no resistance doing so.
does this seem to be just a window motor issue or a secondary issue with the window falling on its own?
Any ideas or feedback?
Thanks!
