--power steering pump--which to buy?
i need to replace my power steering pump and when i went to the napa sight, it has several different possible replacement parts. some are mnetric, some are standard. how will i know what i have? do i have to take it off first in order to know? will there be a part number i can read before i take it off in order to know? if so, can you tell me where it is located?

Springer Spaniels Rule
Try Advance Auto site, they show two, 1 w\tank, 1 w\o tank, all the pumps are usually the same from late 70s to 90s, dont forget the pulley puller, new pumps dont usually come with them.
