I have heard of transtune but never used it myself. What other parts is it good for. Does it need to be drained after use?

the power steering in my 95 is whining too. Power steering seems to be working good though. Lots of 80-96 gen f150's ive seen it whines. I would like to get it repaired though.

Transtune is made by the same company as Seafoam, it is to clean out an automatic transmission before servicing. You should change fluid right after you use it so any material and dirt that it breaks free will not be recirculated throughout the system.
