Default Possible vacuum leak???

I have a 93 F150 4x4 with 5.8 engine. When you turn off the engine there is a whirling sound that goes from low to high pitch, then disappears. Does this sound like a vacuum leak? Seems to be coming from the driver's side of the engine compartment. Any ideas?

Ok, so I figured out that the buzzing noise is coming from the EGR Vacuum Solenoid. Some people say that it is normal, others say that it might be going bad. Anyone else have this problem? Is it normal or should I test it somehow?
