Default possible fuel problem

Hey Guys,
Got a quick question i hope one of you can answer, I have a 1996 F150 inline 6, with 268,000 miles on it , and running strong until today. I Have noticed in the last couple of days my truck skips and jerks going down the road with the front fuel tank, But when i switch to the rear tank it runs perfect. Does that sound like a clogged fuel filter? And does it have 2 filters? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again.

1 filter under the cab drivers side, change it and maybe it will work, maybe the pump is going, pull some codes see what it tells you.and remember to depressurize the fuel system and you will need the fuel line diconect tool.

Both tanks use the same filter so if it runs off one and acts up on the other it's a problem with that tank such as a pump, strainer in the tank or a electrical problem to the pump.
