Default please help.. replacing motor mounts.

replacing my motor mounts cuz one of them is broke. how the do i get to the 2nd bolt that goes into the block? got the first one out with an impact wrench (which started to round it, and my socket was not too big there was no wiggle at all) then i put a socket and ratchet on it and got it off.. but i cant get to the 2nd one through that little hole, so i stuck it up between that pan and the engine and got it on.. but then it started to round so i just said !!! so can someone please help me..

I did mine on my 300I6 in twenty minutes. Did you lift the engine before you started? and I never use an impact when I'm working with things on the motor itself, use a box-end wrench or a 3/8 -1/2 drive. but as far as the rounded bolt or almost rounded, what you can do is get a socket and try hammering it on and putting a socket wrench on it or a good size breaker bar. Or what my buddy did when he stripped his oil pan drain bolt was file it down on the sides and put a wrench on it. Also, where you using a 6 point or a 12 point socket?
