Default ping ping sputter sputter

Hi guys, I finally got my 93 f150 5.0 tuned up (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil). The test drive did not go so well, noticed a pinging under load. Yesterday I started up the mountain and it not only pinged but sputtered pretty badly, enough that I had to stop and put it in first and crawl up the mountain. I checked for spark from the new wires and all have spark. I put in high octane gas and there is no difference. I read on here about checking (cleaning) the maf sensor but there does not seem to be one on my truck. Just wondering where to check next, the new plugs (Bosch)? check codes? Another sensor?
Everything was fine before the tune-up. My truck has 83,000 original miles. Any ideas from the knowledgable would be appreciated, thanks, Scott

Sounds like you might need to check your timing if its doing it under load, wouldnt hurt to check for any codes on the computer too. 93s dont have maf sensors. Also...if I were you I would take those bosch plugs out before you run it again, your asking for trouble with those. I've heard some stories of guys on here running them and the insulator and tips come off while the motors running...their junk.
