persistent arcing issues!

Default Electrical arcing

I solved the electrical arcing by changing the radio capacitor that's attached in the vacinlty of the coil. (it looks like a condensor you would find in a distributor). Then new one looks a lot different than the old, but non-the-less it worked..good luck...

i 'm stlll at a loss. i will try this tomorrow 1/13/11. i'll let you know . I believe my 94 still has plenty good miles .

replaced the capacitor yesterday but still have the arcing. did you also replace the wires/ plugs again ? this will be the third time , if I need to.

do you have any idea how that part affects the plug wires coil ?

It's a noise suppressor. Thats all. Watch the engine running in the dark. See where it's arcing.
