Exclamation performance upgrades

i have a 94 f150 wth a 5.0 in it and ive already added a K&N FIPK cold air filter, MSD distributor cap and rotor, and new MSD wires. what other upgrades can i do to feel the power i get from the product, but without spending hundreds of bucks on it?

MSD makes an ignition box. apparently it milks the MSD components to their full potential.
maybe do a "big three" upgrade (i cant find it, but search here and fullsizebronco.com, its upgrading the ground wires and alternator wire)
and search

I think the next step would be headers. You have more air coming in, now you need to get those gases out.

Now actually take advantage of your ignition upgrade by stretching your gap & bumping up your base timing!

Opps! I just noticed you didn't upgrade your coil. You can still bump your base timing!

I would upgrade to a 48K volt, low primary resistance coil too.

If you sprung for the MSD Superconductor wires (as I did) you gotta give them something to do that earns their keep. W/ your stock coil, they're kind of an overkill. But they will probably outlast any wires you've ever owned, so they eventually make up for their high initial cost.

Not sure if "the big three" is a performance upgrade, but highly advisable for improving reliability. Sooner or later, your stock cables "will" fail you!

As for the 6AL, I "might" install one on a daily driver if I had one laying around, but wouldn't slap down 2 C-notes to do it. A higher output coil, allowing you to increase gap, therefore increasing spark kernel size is a cheaper date.

The 6AL's extend spark duration, or actually more like a double tap. A larger spark kernel for the most part make's the extended duration (or double tap) a mute point. On a high compression engine though, I'd pop for one! That's a different ball game!
