Has anyone found a good performance programer for a 96 f150 300 i6???

The computers on our truck are still relatively basic, so programmers don't do much, my buddie used an sct and it did a little

Check out the JET Performance chips at www.summitracing.com
These "chips" are a piggy-back performance module that just plugs into your main wiring harness and computer at the port. You can even get one tuned to your specific engine mods.

Go to performance chips now.com,those have more affect then the modules do cause these will reprogram the stock ecu,they will just alter the signal coming from the tps or mas ,there 50$ too,I guy I know put one on his 92 automatic 5.0 and it got him 4 extra mpg and made the throttle response a lot better,the modules will tell the trans (automatic of course) to run in cold loop to keep the line pressures up,it will kill the trans pump and burn or clutches,..on these older trucks u can do every thing a chip will do on a newer truck manually on these,advance or timing,get a adjustable fuel regulator,etc
