Hi guys. Has anyone ever tried Autopartswarehouse.com? I was wondering about this performance boosting item. It's called a 1989 Ford F-150 - Hypertech Performance Chip. It claims to boost power in three stages. They claim that stage 1 delivers +50hp, stage 2 delivers +80hp and that stage 3 delivers +100hp. If you Click Here you can go to the page that I was talking about. I would like to hear from anyone who has used one of these hypertech performance chips and if they really do work or not. It does sound a bit far fetched which is why I asked here. Plus I have never dealt with autopartswarehouse so if anyone has had good dealings or bad with them I would like to hear about it. hypertech is a very reliable product.

we had one on our '02 mustang GT 5-speed and you could DEFINENTLY tell a difference.

Hypertech is straight crap. You are not going to get 50hp at a "level 2" setting, thats pure bull****.

sorry. i would have to disagree.

although it may not be the "50 hp" they claim, you do get a noticable gain.

Hypertech SUCKS. Get an sct chip and have it custom burned for your vehicle. Hypertech throws a generic fuel and timing curve at your vehicel. Its not custom tailored to YOUR vehicle.

An sct chip sounds better. I assume that you have tried them both and know so I'll look that way I think(sct) if I can get one in this country. Can't always get stuff like that in Canada but I haven't looked yet so I could be wrong. Thanks a lot.
