Default PCV location

Hey guys, quick question, but it's aggravated me enough to ask for help. Where the heck is my PCV valve on my 5.0 302? It looks like it's around the trans dipstick on the big block but I can't find it on my small block. Is it truly behind it, backed up to the firewall? If so, how do you access it?
My truck is losing hp up the slightest incline and once it gets warmed up is lagging over 55mph. I'm pretty sure the original PCV is on this thing from '94 so I'd like to swap it out and see if that improves things at all. And because it's waaaayyy overdue.
Thanks!

Follow the rubber hose from the top of the intake around to the back of the passenger-side valve cover. It will lead you to the PCV. If you have a small child you can hold him/her up there to replace the PCV. Or a tiny robot snake might be able to reach it.

Use a Motorcraft PCV only. Motorcraft, Motorcraft and nothing but Motorcraft when it comes to the PCV. Yes, there is a difference.

It's really not that bad and yes, only use a Motorcraft valve. You'll regret it if you don't.
