Default Patch advice

Hey everyone just bought my 3rd truck a 1990 F150 XLT. Need advice the previous owner was a hunter and mounted a dog tracking antenna on the roof with a nice large 11/4 hole through the roof. Dead center and through a perfect head liner. The liner isn't the fix issue but the hole in the steel. I need recommendations on patching the hole through steel.

Thanks

Best thing to do is find something to fit where the antenna base was - like another antenna base. No muss, no fuss.

In all honesty that would probably be your easiest, least in depth and even one of your top possibilities.

I busted a hole in the clutch cover on my Honda shadow once and I jb welded a quarter over the hole instead of buying a new $250 cover. Still holds great!

you can buy a plug for most mounts from a place like, Ham Radio Outlet.
