Alright I did what the instructions said twice and after the 4 flashes for the V8 I waited and waited and no flashing happened. Am I doing something wrong or is there no running errors?

I always hit the brake no matter what. You won't hurt anything. As to not getting codes... How long are you waiting? It takes a minute or two from the time you do that.

172 is O2 not switching (constant lean code). You can test the O2 with a volt meter, but if it's due for replacement anyway I'd go ahead and replace it, then troubleshoot if the code doesn't go away.

632 is an indication that the transmission control switch wasn't cycled after the engine code. Not sure what the TCS is, maybe the overdrive button on the end of the shifter stalk?

I remembered I had the 15amp fuse out from my little test this morning so I think thats why it gave me the lean code. I put that back in and did the test again also clicking the OD button twice, this time the codes are 173 and 225

Now I checked the canister purge solenoid and noticed it wasnt plugged in all the way. I plugged that in and it doesnt give me that error anymore. It then says 111, system pass?
