Default overload spring?

can i remove this? (what appears as an overload spring)
i wont be doing any towing or heavy hauling.
the back end of my f150 sit way higher than my previous f150 and the only difference is this item. Hoping it will lower it back down a couple inches.

you remove the bolts with the red arrow.

but you see the green arrow? that is the main pack. "u-bolts" see how they are not connected to the over loads?

you can take the over loads out all day long and it will not lower the truck any.

but you can take out a leaf or 2 out of the main pack to lower it.

Just do a leveling kit with f250 springs up front it will look more level but sit taller than stock if you don't want to remove the whole leaf pack

your truck could set high in the rear end because the front springs are worn out also.
