Default Overdrive on/off light...

Hey guys, recently got a 93 f150, 2wd e4od 302 FI

I noticed the overdrive light does not light up the little "off" indicator on the gear selector lever. Would that be the switch that needs replacing. I will see if the button works today and report back, but what can cause that?

I resolved this issue. The switch worked, but the light must have been blown. I pulled a switch from the bone yard and the light now works again. Very easy fix.
