Default Oil Pressure Sensor

So yeah, i changed mine because it was acting up and cleaning it like usual was having little effect, anyways the new one worked...kind of, it resulted in the needle swinging left as far as it could rather than swinging right. Uhm, yeah i have no idea so i swapped back the old one after cleaning it up, what the heck ? Just wondering if anyone has seen one actively work like it's polarity is reversed or whatever.

I mean it's just one connector and a dummy plug... what the hell ?

Ford used 2 different sensor switches depending on if the vehicle had dummy light or dummy gauge. they look just alike. Possible you got the wrong switch.
